About.Traditional art for the Confessional Lutheran in the midst of a fallen world.
|
Art within the Confessional Lutheran tradition has largely been left unattended since the Reformation. Apart from Dürer, Cranach and the contemporary pieces of the past century, Lutheran fine art has been lacking and near non-existent.
After learning the basics of Coptic Egyptian iconography, Harrison A Prozenko noticed the lack of a Confessional style and decided to fill the void. These pieces reflect the doctrine of true Lutheran Christians, combining the methods of iconography with the Reformation techniques of Northern Europe to create a brand new visual style to honour Gods' glory. |
